Better than Beyonce

Around November I went and saw both of these bands, Free Energy and Foxy Shazam preform at the Music Hall of Wiliamsburg and had the time of my life (no need to start singing that one). These are two completely unique and awesome bands that have no boundaries when it comes to preforming and expressing themselves through their music. I think the jiggly bum in the opening scene of Foxy Shazam's Unstoppable video say's everything I cannot say.

Local Natives is a band that I have known about since last year because my sister one day, when I was actually home in Texas said, " hey, have you heard of these guys Local Natives?" And so began my days of hitting the back button on my I-Pod to replay this song and all of their other really good tunes. Hopefully you will enjoy as much as I do.

Going and Coming

The second picture is from Rebbecca Taylor's Fall 2011 collection, which I absolutely fell in love with this particular color duo; so much so that I went digging through my hoarder stash of inspirational images to match the outfit. It's funny how the longer you keep things how they always come back around.

I just can't get you out of my head

I have been hearing this band in my sleep lately singing this same song, so inorder to hopefuly get it out of my head I am putting there video on the world wide web in hopes I'm not caught singing it in my sleep. I first heard of the Morning Benders when I downloaded some free tunes from the UO website and completely fell in love. The sound is breathtaking and you kinda wish it would just go on and on. I wanted so much to see them when they were in New York this past winter but I guess another You Tube video will have to do... for now. I have to give the credit to my sis for finding this video. Good job sis.
